Good news for Beenleigh, with stocks on the rise, and talks that the centre could be looking to break away and form its own regional council.
CEO of Richards Group, Melinda Richards, says that “It has the infrastructure and transport links, the geography and the potential to become the next big centre in southeast Queensland.”
She continued to say that "People on the Gold Coast are sick of driving to Brisbane for work, but once you get some corporates in here, it will go ballistic."
Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate also weighed in on the matter, saying that “I can see why Beenleigh would love to grab a part of our burgeoning industrial and manufacturing area, But I’ve got bad news for them – it’s not for sale.”
Either way, it's exciting news for the area, with our latest development, Tallagandra Heights, as pictured above. Stage one of this estate is all but sold out, with only eight lots remaining.
Registration took place as planned in mid December of last year, with the first home sites cut and prepared for construction in coming days.
