Our proactive Mayor Tom Tate has released his plans to combat any potential slump after the Commonwealth Games.

As we charge towards the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games next year we have to make sure there is no 'hangover' like what happened in Sydney after the 2000 Olympics. 
We are already Way Ahead with lower unemployment than state and national averages, and growing numbers of international students choosing the city, but I will keep working hard to ensure we stay Way Ahead in to the future.
