Zaraffa's Coffee franchise moves to Logan

Coffee franchise Zaraffa’s has completed its shift north of its Gold Coast birthplace to a new $20 million headquarters, in a move that also takes the business in a new direction.

Founder Kenton Campbell has launched a concept cafe, Kiwanda, next to his company’s new corporate base at Eagleby.

The site is also where he’s built Distillery Road Market, a fresh produce, dining and entertainment precinct, for which he’s now seeking tenants.

The market, designed on a 17,000sq m reclaimed commercial warehouse, will have more than 4500sq m of lettable area.

Mr Campbell, whose Tonken Property Group has developed the market concept, said he was seeking an experiential retail mix.

“DRM actually brings together all the things I enjoy most in life – a wide variety of great food and beverage options, curated shopping experiences and a knockout environment to sit back, relax and take it all in,” he said.

“I’m also both a retailer and a consumer, and I wanted to create a hub for everyone – both locals and tourists, families and couples, the young and old – somewhere that fuels all five senses.”

Mr Campbell hopes to launch the market late next year or early in 2021, for Thursday to Sunday trading.
